Travelling Library

Last summer I saw an amazing travelling classical library at The Brotherton Library in Leeds. The beautiful, miniature, vellum bound books covering literature, philosophy and mathematics are housed on three little shelves within a large book shaped box. A gorgeous hand painted vellum doublure details the contents of each shelf within three painted panels.
This piece is inspiring my research & work on travelling landscapes.
